About this guide
How Straightener Fit Guide researches a model
What the library covers
This edition contains 156 individually assessed product and package configurations from six manufacturers: ghd, BaBylissPRO, Remington, CHI, Conair and T3. The reviews use selected U.S. manufacturer source surfaces recorded through November 3, 2026; they do not claim to enumerate every current, historical or retailer-only product. Two reference-only assessments are kept for context and are excluded from purchase matching.
Exact identity comes first
A product family name is not enough to transfer facts. We record the US model or SKU, finish when it is a distinct catalogue record, and whether the source is describing a base tool, a functional variant, a bundle or an accessory. If the listing name and product URL conflict, we preserve the conflict until another primary source resolves it.
Manufacturer statements are not independent tests
We use manufacturer pages and manuals for identity, listed dimensions, operating requirements, package contents and features. We describe such points as manufacturer-stated facts. We distinguish them from geometry-based expectations—for example, a wider plate covers a broader section across its span—and do not present those expectations as measured speed, finish or damage reduction.
No claimed use or testing
These are research-based assessments. We do not claim personal use, ownership, lab tests, measured temperatures, measured styling time or customer experience. An absent measurement stays unknown. We do not invent price, stock, ratings, an Amazon identifier or model photographs.
What this library does not mean
A match reflects selected documented features in one reviewed operating plan. It is not a professional hair-care recommendation or a guarantee of compatibility, safety, performance or results. Confirm the exact package, product label and current manufacturer instructions before use.
The recorded source pages form a finite research scope rather than a live or exhaustive catalogue. Unresolved specifications remain unknown and are excluded from claims that depend on them; a later source or newly observed product may be added in a future edition.
